2010 Winter Games

On July 2, 2003, Vancouver was named Host City of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games!

Together, Vancouver and Whistler will welcome countries from across the globe as they come together to compete on the world stage for the honour of representing their country in Olympic competition.

Whistler

Events being hosted in Whistler:

  • Alpine (downhill, super G, giant slalom, slalom, combined)
  • Nordic (biathlon, cross-country skiing,ski jumping, Nordic combined)
  • Sliding (bobsleigh, luge, skeleton)
  • Alpine skiing (Paralympic)
  • Biathlon (Paralympic)
  • Cross-Country skiing (Paralympic)

Vancouver
