W.A.G. (Whistler Animals Galore) is a no-kill animal shelter dedicated to protecting and enhancing the lives of lost, unwanted and homeless animals in Whistler. Take part in volunteer dog walking Mondays and Tuesdays from 3 PM to 5 PM and Wednesdays through Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM. W.A.G. is now in a new location on Nesters Road in front of the recycling depot.

Whistler Library is open to visitors and locals alike.

Whistler Mountain Ski Club is a non-profit club that has been cultivating talent and promoting athleticism for over 30 years in Whistler. It is home to youth ski racing in the Sea to Sky Corridor, as well as the Vancouver Ski and Snowboard Foundation, which supports the alpine programs of more than 1,000 club athletes in the Coastal Zone of the B.C. Alpine Division. It is dedicated to the development of young ski racers from age 11 in all alpine disciplines and may be producing Canada's next Olympian!

WORCA (Whistler Off Road Cycling Association) is a local bike organization that hosts Whistler's popular "Loonie Races" every Thursday night. For only $2 you can participate in a challenging and rewarding mountain bike ride up and down and through the Whistler area. Food and drink await at the sponsoring business or restaurant.

You must be a WORCA member. Annual membership fee is $40. WORCA also organizes mountain bike trail maintenance, youth camps and programs, and ensures other services to the mountain biking community by working with government, landowners, and developers.
